Reagan County Independent School District is a large AA district serving Big Lake, Texas. The boundary of the Reagan County Independent School District parallels that of Reagan County.
The District consists of three campuses and is consistently rated Exemplary/Recognized.
The Elementary School consists of grades PreK-5, Middle School is made up of grades 6-8 and High School consists of 9-12. The campuses are upbeat and energetic with innovative programs. All campuses offer a safe learning environment with an emphasis on discipline. RCISD is proud of its excellent students and supportive parents.
The District participates in University Interscholastic League (UIL) and offers a full range of extracurricular activities, including academic UIL competition, athletics (eight sports), band, Industrial Technology contests and One-act play competition. Extracurricular activities are encouraged to round out the learning experience at RCISD.
Reagan County ISD, through the Board, Administration, Faculty and Staff, is dedicated to the education of every child in the community.
